Bennington Theater Sound System Installation

Over the course of 3 months, I designed, integrated, and optimized a d &b Audiotechnik sound system installation for the Bennington Theater in Bennington, Vermont. This project involved specing, installing, and overseeing the operation of all audio infrastructure, loudspeakers, DSP, audio networking, and intercom. The system is DSP-Based, with processing handled by an Allen and Heath AHM32 Matrix Processor and amplifier control via d & b’s R1 remote amplifier management software. Audio network ing is achieved through Dante communication between the system processor, FOH console, and various peripheral I/O devices. The system was tuned and calibrated using Rational Acoustics Smaart v9.5

I schematized audio routing for analog, digital, and networked audio systems and consulted with manufacturers and distributors to help create a comprehensive budget exceeding $50,000, trained additional theater personnel in the use-practice, and troubleshooting of venue audio systems and operated FOH and monitors for theater events.
